COMPANY HIGHLIGHTS

MSRDI’s highlights include but are not limited to:


1. MSRDI is the only commercial laboratory with metallurgical, analytical (including fire-assay) facilities in the Southwest and Mexico region.

2. MSRDI has pilot plant facilities for larger scale tests.

3. MSRDI has developed excellent worldwide contacts, specifically in Mexico, South America and the Pacific Rim countries.

4. MSRDI has been instrumental in developing new technology and innovative processes which include but are not limited to:

a. low grade copper and gold ores; 

b. refractory gold ores;

c. selective flotation of Cu-Pb-Zn ores;

d. recovery of Mo and Cu-Mo separation;

e. heavy-media-separation (HMS) technology utilizing the DynaWhirlpool (DWP) processor. MSRDI has the only active DWP pilot plant testing facility in the U.S.

Use of DWP technology include:

a. preconcentration of Cu, Pb and Zn ores;

b. preconcentration of non-metallic minerals such as MnO2, Cr2O3, BaSO4, CaF2, etc.

c. processing of shales and coals;

d. treatment of automobile scraps and other industrial wastes;

e. separation of diamonds;

f. separation of rubies and emeralds which is MSRDI’s exclusive expertise.

5. MSRDI has considerable experience in insitu and heap/dump leaching. MSRDI and LEACH, Inc. have the exclusive rights to the computer leach model for optimization of heap, dump and insitu leaching.

6. MSRDI has in-depth experience in bio-leaching using oxidizing bacteria leaching technology.

7. MSRDI is currently involved with the bio-remediation of contaminated underground water emanating from mine dumps, tailings, acid mine drainage, etc.
